The Best Gay Bars In Las Vegas By Neighborhood

Las Vegas definitely has a reputation of being a laid-back and progressive city. After all, it’s not called Sin City for nothing. Unsurprisingly, this adult playground with an “anything goes” attitude is the perfect place to check out some of the best gay bars in Las Vegas.

We have organized the best ones by neighborhood to make it easier for you to plan your night (or day!) out. In addition, we’ve provided information about drink specials and entertainment options at each location.

So what are you waiting for? See what Las Vegas gay bars have to offer.

Paradise

Home to Las Vegas’s gay epicenter The Fruit Loop, Paradise is one of the best areas for some LGBTQ fun. This area, located off Paradise Road and Naples Street, is the most popular area for LGBTQ locals and tourists.

Piranha Ultra Lounge

No LGBTQ visit to Las Vegas would be complete without a visit to Piranha. Don’t believe us? Best of Las Vegas has Voted Piranha “Best Gay Bar/Club” for the past five years running.

This two-level club is the perfect place to dance, spot a celebrity, or catch a drag show. From the cozy outdoor patio, to the VIP booths and the three dance rooms playing different music, there’s something for everyone.

Quadz Video Bar

Located right across the street from Piranha, Quadz is a great alternative if you’re looking for a more relaxed atmosphere. It’s got a dive bar feel that’s complemented by cheap drinks and a welcoming, laid back crowd. In fact, Quadz advertises “some of the best and strongest drinks at some of the lowest prices Gay Vegas has to offer.”

Here you can grab a casual drink at the end of the day, play some bingo, or tune into a sporting event. Or hang out with the friendly bartenders, shoot pool, and play darts while jamming to the video jukebox.

There are also loads of special events like Tasty Tuesday, Electric Thursdaze, and Fresh Fridays. Also, be sure to check out their regular events like Thursday night poker opens and once-a-month Cowboy Bingo.

Freezone

Freezone attracts a mixed crowd thanks to its generous happy hour and amazing queens. There are also plenty of theme nights like Trans Unity Tuesdays, Wild Wednesdays, and Frisky Fridays. Also look out for Monday night karaoke and Drag Madness on weekends (it’s one of the longest-running drag shows in Vegas).

Still not convinced? There are plenty of other activities to keep you busy while you sip—pool tables, karaoke, dancing, and even arcade games. And did we mention there’s a restaurant?

If you’re heading to Las Vegas for a birthday, make sure to stop by. Freezone will give you a free bottle of champagne if you come with a group of at least eight people (just be sure to reserve in advance).

Address: 610 E Naples Drive, Las Vegas

Spring Valley

While less busy and not as popular as The Fruit Loop, Spring Valley still has plenty of options for LGBTQ fun.

The Phoenix Bar & Lounge

Locally gay owned and operated, Phoenix has a laid back lounge atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing night out. The crowd is diverse, the drinks are well-priced, and the food is delicious. Plus, there’s karaoke, pool tables, and a dance floor.

Be sure to check out the daily happy hour specials and events like drag shows, video bingo, trivia, and guest DJs. There’s even an Underwear Party night where you can earn an all-you-can-drink deal for $5 if you’re willing to belt out a song in your skivvies.

The historic heart of Las Vegas, Downtown remains a must-see area thanks to its famous casinos (Golden Nugget, anyone?), unique museums, and the dazzling Fremont Street Experience. Visitors of all kinds will enjoy the 24-hour mall filled with shops, light shows, and the SlotZilla zip line.

But it’s also a great part of the city for some LGBTQ fun. In fact, Downtown is the home base for the annual Las Vegas Pride festival and parade.

Flex Cocktail Lounge

Flex Cocktail Lounge has been a Las Vegas mainstay for more than 20 years. During that time, it’s gained a reputation as an easy-going, divey place to stop for drinks and entertainment. Although not far from the Strip, the atmosphere is much more relaxing than you’ll find at the bigger, more famous clubs.

When you come to Flex, expect strong but inexpensive drinks, a game room, and loose slots. No matter the day, there’s some kind of live entertainment happening. There’s Movie Mondays, $2 Tuesdays, Dragaoke (drag karaoke) Wednesdays, and regular drag shows on Thursdays and Fridays, just to name a few.

Address: 4371 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas

Hours: Monday to Sunday 12pm to 12am

Commercial Center

Located just south of the Arts District, the commercial center isn’t one that most tourists see when visiting Las Vegas, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth visiting. That’s especially true if you’re looking for some LGBTQ fun.

Badlands Saloon

This laid-back Las Vegas landmark (they’ve been in business over 22 years) is a safe bet if you’re looking for super cheap drinks and awesome theme nights with some Western flare. Badlands attracts a mostly male 30-something crowd.

The Strip

Most people don’t think ‘gay bars’ when they hear the Strip, but there are more than enough options for LGBTQ entertainment on this famous thoroughfare.
